Ok here goes new points, condenser, plugs, plug caps, timed everything checks out have nice strong blue spark on right side and a very very weak spark left side at idle left side exhaust pipe warms up very slowly right side gets hot can pull off left side plug cap at idle and it does nothing. Left side is not firing at idle when sped up to above 2000 it fires up and I can hear and feel it go has good power when revved up. Have swapped coils left right no change. volts are good >14.5 when running I am at a loss any help would be very much appreciated
Thanks,
Mike

checked with new plugs swapped plugs left to right when I switch the point leads the spark is good on left weak on right so coils are good changed points and still same thing checked wires and they are not grounded anywhere. If I am correct power is applied to coils and the points brake the ground to make it fire right?? Iknow the problem is probably something really obvious but I can't figure it out??

Ok so somewhere somehow my left points are dead. If I plug in the point lead yellow wire onto the right side points blue wire I get spark the left side is not grounding out everything is timed according to manual point gap set within limits .012-.016 timing set with a light so I know the points are opening and closing both coils good cause I can get spark out of both sides I'm stumped??
