Screws
I went to go take of my right side fairing for my over due oil change only to learn that some one had started the job for me. and kept the screws. what kinda punk $hi# is that. they left me with some. but im missing like 3. I just read about rc daves bike. I dont know if anybody knows a thing about hot wiring but do u think they were trying to do something and got scared mid way?
A silly thing but I want to meet these guys.
your stories?

In my experience, missing fairing screws are absent because of vibration more often than people messing with them. How many punkass kids carry a screwdriver or Allen wrench around with them?
But it is possible, I guess.
I don't trust the general public to leave anything alone on my bike. I would never even consider locking my helmet to the bike and going in someplace. Some ignorant plick could do any disgusting thing inside there...... I'll carry my lid around, thank you.

Don't know what type of bike or where you live, but if you see a bike just like yours with trashed plastic, you might have your possible suspect(s)...

yeah buzz i guess agree with both the things u said. i just thought it was a little weird that a good three should be missing. and not the obvious ones. also maybe anyone who pops in here can answer another question of mine.
when i changing my oil i noticed that i was 400ml short of what the oil thing said it could hold i guess. however when i tipped the tank toward me the window shows the oil is well at full. so im befuddled. do i have to hunt down another bottle before Sunday ends ? thanks

Make sure you check the oil view window with the bike standing straight up and down, not on it's side stand.

.....and after it has been started and the oil circulated around, filter pressure filled, etc....

lol yeah i stand up the bike before i check. i wont show otherwise since i have a chopped kick stand. so but do u think thats ok? the reservoir (if theres a better or different term excuse me but thats all i could think to call it at this moment) says 2800ml and i put in 3 bottle of 800 making that 2400. i guess im good. unless u say otherwise

If you have a good level in the sight glass, you should be safe.

Supposed to check the oil with the bike running?

Most bikes want you to check the oil level with the engine off but warmed-up. But check your owners manual for your bike.
