After having a serious case of BDS (bike deprivation syndrome) I just had to get out and blow the cobwebs away. I go south as usual as there is less traffic find a quiet stretch and just open up, That VFR can hit 260 on the clock but knowing the japanese bikes it was probably closer to 240 real.

Anyway, as I got back I felt really strange, it was after a little thinking, Guilt, not a feeling I am used to.

To assuage my guilt I called Metro traffic cops

Hello is that Metro

yes what can we do for you

well I was speeding today and I feel guilty so I thought I would call you,

Sir, you have made my day, to know that there are conscientious citizens out there, what exactly happened

Well I was out on my bike and the clock showed me 260kmh

WOW, that was a helluva speed

Yeah was kinda cool, but I think the alcohol made me brave

All I can say is that THINK BIKE must be having an effect on you and I respect you for calling us and owning up to your indescretion

Thanks, this is not an unpleasant experiance, but then again I had a lot of alcohol

Right you are Sir, what did you say your name was

I said I was feeling guilty, not ****ing stupid MR Plod, and put the phone down.

Was I wrong???????

I feel much better. :D
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Nothing wrong at all. You just went to traffic confession, stated what you did wrong and got it off your chest. Good work! Funny too!!
