Wow! That thing is awesome. Nnow if all our governments could put their heads together and fund more creative geniuses in our quest for environmentally friendly transportation.

I know right?

It's wild watching him take turns and pass cars!

I agree some government funded alternative travel methods would be cool :)

I like the Zip Car, I know it's not gov't funded but it's still a good concept.

A bargain at $40K U.S..

I could by a Honda SuperCub 50CC, go as fast, and have $36000 left to buy gas.

Am I missing something here?

If it is good for the environment, that is important. But if it is economically unsound, is it really anything other than an exercise for publicity?

I know the technology will come down in price, "one day", but I don't think it would be even close to a SuperCub in economics in my lifetime.

The pedal motion controls the output of the electric motor. [voice="Spock"]Fascinating.[/voice]
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

You're not missing anything, you are trying to take too much away from it.

Lets be honest, the guy who made the segway thought we would all have one by now. It's just supposed to be funny to look at an interesting from a technical standpoint.
