There is a fresh batch of rumors today flying around that at least 2 other motorcycle manufacturers could be releasing V-Twin 2000cc or bigger engine cruisers for 2006!

As we reported in 2004, Kawasaki was getting ready to release the Vulcan 2000, now in 2005, the Vulcan 2000 (2,053cc) is king of the hill while the Honda VTX1800 (1795cc), 2005 Suzuki Boulevard M95 (1552cc), Yamaha Road Star (1670cc).

We reported in January that Suzuki was planning to release the Suzuki Boulevard M105 (1700cc Muscle Cruiser) for 2006... Could they have bumped it up to 2100cc?

While Triumph still holds the title "biggest mass production engine" with its Triumph Rocket III (2294cc) could the new V-Twin be even BIGGER?

If I had to bet, I'm putting my money on Honda.

They have the VTX1800 already (1795cc) so making another 300cc increase for a V-Twin is within reach for them. The VTX was king of the hill before and they just might be itching to be king again...

Also Honda has only released some of their 2006 Cruiser models (upto the VTX1300) so they might just have a wild card in their hands....
