Anybody know why we can't edit out for sale ads???????????

Probably to help keep honest people honest.

Any particular ad you mean?

i have an ad up for sale,then i wanted to close the particular ad, and put two bike up forsale or trade, I found i had to install a whole new ad, as there was no" edit icon" around.

I have also ran into this problem. I have listed local events under Colorado but cannot delete older ones (some are almost 3 years old) Just looked and the ones over one year are gone but some others are really out of date as in last years events.

And slimco-----------i also notice you have to sign in everytime, and it tells you at the same time, check this box and you will be" automatically" be logged in everytime. NEVER HAPPENs!!

Bob, that may be your internet browser settings. If you have cookies disabled or regularly purge your temporary internet files, then it may be logging you out every time you leave the page. I use the automatic login at home and it works like a charm for me.

I suspect you were not logged in when you tried to edit your ad.

It happens to me sometimes also that I am "logged out", not by choice....
I have to clear out the cookies and then re-log in...it's good for s while then.

Make sure you are logged in and then you should be able to edit /delete your own ads.

OK i think i got that...til then i'll just make another post i have a number of other forums i belong to. and this one is the only one i can't keep in memory box..................... that saves all the different forums [upper right hand corner]of computer.
