Leather Processing

I love a traditional leather riding jacket. But I won't wear black.
So, what I want to do is take a traditional leather motorcycle jacket that is perforated and comes with CE certified armor, and have it processed to either white or neon green. ( I know it is probably really gross, but I ride alone anyway - and pretty much only to work and home ).
I'd run in to a site online that described buying previous year bad colors leather riding suits and having them changed in to a better color.
What is the name of the place that would do such processing? Are there any in NJ?
Oh, anyone that would point out a traditional motorcycle riding jacket that meets my specs above - it would really be appreciated. Online most of these jackets look too much alike.

not exactly what you wanted, but is
this jacket close or are you looking for something a little different style/design-wise?

If you can't buy it premade, I'd be a bit leary of changing the color of a real leather garment after it has been treated. For leather doesn't take kindly to that sort of treatment.
What I would do is Google your area for a custom leather tailor. It will cost more but you can have it made to the thickness that you require and you can have it made in any style you want. Because of my dimensions, I went that way and all my riding out fit is brown instead of black and It's much better put together than comerial leathers.
Just a thought...

My uncle told me that when he was racing, green was supposed to be an unlucky color then Kawasaki blew all that to hell because their bikes were all green.

Not the style I'm looking for - I'm looking I guess for a cruiser style jacket - with the button down collar, etc.
That is a nice jacket, though.

"Custom leather tailor" - I'll be searching. I suppose someone out there must have access to motorcycle grade leather to do work on.
I had been thinking of making my own jacket and stuff, but I could never find the raw materials.

I'm certifiable?
Crazier than an old coot.
And I have a really strong streak in me to not be like anyone else. It comes from being average height, average weight average bleh male.
