To all that would like to know . Yours truly just found out that she passed her boards and is now a real live RN. In 2 weeks, I start work as a nurse in Trauma One, 11-7, Mon. thru Friday. I had wanted Star Flight but there is a waiting list so I'm just as happy as I can be.
Now I can afford all the bikes I've put aside or stopped work on as I tried to find money to keep them going.

At least you're not like the people I work with. I'm at work and they found out about it. So they made a "thing out of it". Only problem is that they promised to bring me all their "work". Gee, wizz, how nice of them. NOT!
But anyway, it will be a be a change in lifestyle and I will have to meet social standards. My partner is already dancing in the streets. The only real problem that has come up is that I will have to wear men's scrubs because of my size so I won't get to wear pretty little pastel tops with little birdies, bunnies and rainbow bears all over them. Actually, the men's scrubs are better anyway because they hide my tatoos.
The only thing is they almost got a stipulation in my contract that I would stop riding motorcycles. They tried, stating my position is too important to be endangered by an "unheathy habits". I tried to reason with them but it took a call to my family's lawyer to get it quashed. They want me too bad to let this stand in the way of hireing me but they sure tried. Makes me a bit worried about other people who's positions aren't so solid. Also, besides the freedom issues, is this a thing that is going to get worse. Dunno, I know of just my case. But I wonder. I think that I may put this out to the larger forum.
Anyway, it's a dream come true. My partner and I can finally afford a house of our own. So I guess the Honda ST will give of a better image than the dangerous biker motorcycles like the 3 or 4 I've got in the gargage.

Well Done! A buddy's wife doing her nursing internship now, have barely spoken to her except for Xmas and the 4th since she's always studying. Best wishes for your career!

Get some pix of your other bikes.
Will do so as the parts come together for assembly. Kind hard to put a bike together if its heads are at the machine shop or the panels are at the painters. Bu t will put them up as I get them.

congrats. and i too would like to see a pics of all your bikes.
about telling you that you can't ride... i know they do that for professional sports. a player for the golden state warriors (nba) was suspended without pay because he hurt his ankle on a moped (i think) and his contract states that he won't take part in any risky behavior and one of the things in that list is riding a motorcycle.
