new guy here

ive had several bikes in the past but havent ridden in over 25 years,i saw my best friend wreck and almost die and never got back on one,the biggest i had was a honda 550 super sport,now over 25 years later i just bought a harley sportster 883 low,i had a friend go with me and ride it home for me,yesterday i just looked at it,today i took my first ride in a long time,im real rusty sort of scared and im gonna have to work on my stopping some,im 58 years old so i hope you can teach and old dog new tricks,ive wanted a harley all my life now i have it,thank you

Okay, go Banjo Dude. I still recommend taking the MSF course at your local community college.

I am but 36 years old but know one thing I hope I am still looking outsided the "comfort zone" when I am 58. For what it's worth you have my respect.

Yes, definitely take the MSF course offered in your area, BEFORE any bad habits get developed.... You'll thank us all for that suggestion...
