I almost didn't buy it, as I hate to part with money at this point due to the economy.
I have my Ninja 250 up for sale, so when that's gone it'll cover most of the cost of this one.
I'm really excited about it and had it out this morning for a quick ride around my development.

You're getting rid of a perfectly good 250 Ninja for a Rebel?
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

I test rode a gz250 not horribly long ago, and they aren't that different.
That thing was retardedly fun. I think I'm more apt to get into trouble on a smaller bike because it brings out my inner hooligan.
And howdy from Beckley neighbor.

Yes I am. I can't flat foot the bike, I lean to far forward when riding it, the handlebars are not comfortable, I don't like the fairings...... I can go on.

Good deal. My Rebel has been probably my best purchase in 10 years. I've ridden the crap out of this thing through 14 states and canada. My S50 may be much more powerful, but truth be told I've had more fun and adventure on my rebel.
