TMW Community Topic: Why I Ride

We all ride for different reasons and we got into riding differently. There are a lot of untold stories in our community about how and why we do what we do.
Thus, I would like to start up a thead here about it and invite all our members to contribute their story.
Why do you ride? What do you like it? What got you started into it? What bike(s) did you ride that you just did it for you?
Have fun with it and enjoy! Feel free to add photos.

When I want to feel like I've accomplished something, I consult my humongous list, pick the one that is closest to appealing, and go do it (unless or until I get distracted by something else.
)
When I want to
escape that list, well, that bike is right over there, waiting for me.
Right now, decluttering & reorganizing the home office would be a real accomplishment.
