Hi all,
I took the msf brc course may 2004 for the first time did not pass. zero riding experience prior. Got my permit have been practicing. Just finished taking the msf brc course this fathers day weekend and I PASSED. I would recommend the msf brc course to anyone who wants to learn to ride that they take the msf brc first. i learned a lot.

There's few feelings better then getting that extra number or letter on your license.
And one of my favorite sounds will always be the heavy thunk of my bike dropping into first gear after I fire it up

Congrats but don't get too excited for too long. It's just a licence to learn.

Nice going!! On Sundays I love to ride past the same DMV location where I took my MSF course. Just watching all the other newbies taking their test on the range brings back all the great feelings I had when I passed.
Enjoy your rides!!
Cheers,
Loonette

Thanks for your encouragement. 'Speaking of rides, I couldn't help notice you ride a Kawasaki 1600 meanstreak. What (as an experienced rider) do you think of the vulcan 500c as a starter? I've located a year 2000 unit with 8900 miles. Rear tire is questionable but other wise it seems to run good?
