Saw it. In the theatre, in 1969. I was 13. Dad took me (surprised me)....... I'm not sure we ever told Mom what kind of movie it was.
Kind of raw for a 13-year-old in 1969 (those were more innocent times), but I guess he figured it was stuff I was going to find out sooner or later...

I remember seeing bit of it as a kid, picked up the DVD a few years back. If you see it today for the first time, you might stop watching it after 20 minutes of so. It's no "Casablanca" or "Citizen Kane", but it's worth watching IMHO. You just have to put yourself in a 60's mindset (and you can read into that whatever you want to

A friend of mine is acting as a technical adviser for this. (for the last 4 years I thought it was BS but looks like He was for real with this) I read an official release the other day and now cannot find> They are also using his WLC but are passing it off as a WLA. They are also planning heavy advertisement at Sturgis.

I really liked Quentin Tarantino's Hell Ride, I also liked FreeBird.
But the one movie that seemed like real life was Mask. W/ Sam Elliot
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089560/ (I could actually relate to the characters, they seemed like real people and not Hollywood creations like ER or Wild Hogs)
The only other motorcycle movies that had a truthful presentation of the motorcycling world were On Any Sunday
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067527/ ,Offerings to the Gods of Speed
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0877328/ and Hells Angels Forever
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085665/fullcredits#cast . (interesting that all three are documentaries)
