New from Ottawa

#1 Unread post by viennatech »

I used to ride a Yamaha 175 but always did so off road and never did it with any sort of license. Recently got the bug again after receiving a 1985 Honda Elite 150 that had been in a minor crash.

I have managed to put the scoot back together and am itching to ride. Am likely going the MSF course at Algonquin route but for now will be happy just to get my gear and M1 to start tooting around town.

Hope this forum give me access to the golden nuggets that only online forums seem to offer.

Thanks all and Hello!

Welcome to TMW!

FYI, in Canada it is called the Canada Safety Council (CSC) "Gearing Up" course. In the USA, it is the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) "RiderCourse". Taking the CSC at Algonquin is a good step, I used to teach the course there a few years ago and still know most of the instructors. Great bunch of people!
