Today I installed this on my kz650sr. It is of very high quality and durable. No worries about breakage during installation.
About the installation. You get hardware, the faring, and the windscreen. The instructions are very good, but you must custom fit the brackets (meaning bend and shape), and drill all the holes for the mounting hardware. The windshield and faring are predrilled where they attach to each other. There is plenty of extra hardware left over for your assortment. It attaches both to the headlight pivot bolts, and to the handlebars, so it's very solid. Lots of plastic washers and a foam strip to kill vibration, and relieve stress around the windscreen mounting holes, and faring mounts.
When I get out for a ride, tomorrow, I'll post the wind reduction. In my typical riding position, it looks loke it will send the air over the top of my helmet. I'll let you know. For now, It just looks awesome sitting there.
