Idle thoughts at a chip truck

So I loaded up the Ural with the empty beer bottles today and took them over to The Beer Store for the refund. Then with $7.80 burning a hole in my pocket, I decided to head south into Varney and stop at the chip truck located in the parking lot of West Grey Premium Beef, our local butcher. While I was gnawing away on a box of chips, a local farmer pulled in with his bigass Dodge dually pickup hauling a livestock trailer. As he trundled by towards the back of the building, I saw the snouts of three curious cows poking out from between the slats on the trailer sides and it made me smile. A little while later, just as I was finishing my chips, the farmer drove by again on his way out, but this time his trailer was empty.

Do you suppose he just dropped off his cows for West Grey Beef to babysit them while he went on vacation? :dunno:
