Please lose the obnoxious zwinky ad
Mike,
Please get rid of the completely obnoxious full screen zwinky ad. It shows up every time I log in and try to read my first post. It "skip ad" link on it doesn't work either.
I understand you need to revenue to run the site, but this is totally obnoxious.

Ok, they are gone for good.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I asked the advertiser about them and they said they don't have many (of them so they wouldn't run often) so I thought I would try them out.
But as you stated, they can be a real pain in the butt if they are inconvenient, and I'm not going to do that to my visitors and members.
So, they are gone because you asked.

You are most welcome. I'm glad to get rid of ANY ad that people find annoying as I have done many many times before in the past.Wrider wrote:Thanks Mike! They were pretty annoying, but honestly this site is like crack to me, so I'd keep coming back no matter what!
Because most of the ads are "geo-targeted" meaning, if you live in the USA you will get different ads than if you lived in Australia (for example) I can't see all the ads myself.
It always brings a smile to my face when people enjoy the site, find it useful and keep coming back. Thank you!!!
I just posted August visitor data: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/kudos.htm#WSC and we had 1,749,587 unique visitors in August that enjoyed the site too, so you are not alone.

I went and clicked on a bunch of ads this evening. Sometimes there are some good things to be found.

I think this bike deserves a test ride....

After riding the bigger bikes at the conference and experiencing the "ease" of how they accelerate and the lower rpm's they produce I am considering it for next year.....IF I HAVE THE $$$.BuzZz wrote:Whew.... 20+ grand for a 2 year old, discontinued bike.
You'd think Honda would be offering a better deal on 'em. I would think so anyways. Still, nice bike if you're into that sorta thing.
So.... is Lady Blues going Big Bore?
It may not be a big big motor....but maybe a 1300cc.
