If he puts it on his elbow you can't hit him on the head...

And if you're poor or you just can't wait till that stuff gets productized you can always just ride around with ziplock bags full of cornstarch and water shoved in your jacket

I,d like to see them use something more substantial like a 5 pound maul instead of that tiny rubber mallet, or the shovels with the half handles.

Yes sir, non-Newtonian fluids it is. I couldn't pretend to understand the physics of it but I bet that the d30 stuff shares a few similarities with corn starch suspended in water.
Mr. Invisible a little sadistic are we ?

I think the point is if you get hit with one of those shovels and it barely phases you then the impact from a motorcycle wreck will let you hobble away with your life, not get up and be a like "Nope didn't feel that one either let's do it again at 100MPH"
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you're a fan of that TV show "MTV's Jackass"

(I have to admit it's a guilty pleasure of mine too)

Basically what I am saying is that with that rubber mallet, and the half shovel, you can use carpet padding and acheive the same result.
Seriously, you can use that rubber mallet with the half swing that they are using on your bare hand.
Sonce you are a JackAss fan, that looks like Wee Man's shovel.
