Does a B-King or "busa really need more HP?

Is this for real? Why would anyone need more HP on those already over powered machines?
(except for on a track maybe...but certainly not for street use)

Aww, c'mon, Blues...... ya never heard of nitrous injection on a 'busa? Busa's are
woefully underpowered in stock form!

Having ridden a 150 hp motorcycle... It's not enough.

I dunno...if the guy who was accelerating on the bridge a few days ago had any more HP, he'd have been off the bridge and into the river.
I kid you not....I checked my mirror...nothing coming in the lane, I signalled.......I looked over my shoulder, still nothing in the lane...then I checked my mirror again just as I was about to move over.....

Cripes.....there was a person on a motorbike suddenly in my view, coming so fast I turned my signal off and stayed in my lane. The speed there is 90 kph, most of the traffic does about 100kmh, I usually go about almost 95kph....this guy on the bike was probably going about 200kmh....

sadly....a crash waiting to happen......does he need more HP?
(OK, rhetorical question.....)

I can't imagine......do you need that much more so you can pop wheelies or something?

It's the Tuner culture. Gotta be fast n' furious nowadays.
It was sad that I kept up with a R6 on my Vulcan 500 when we both went full rev down a stretch of road. Turns out my redline is 9500 RPM or more. Ran out of steam though at 5th gear at quite a high speed (think 2 zeroes)... 6th gear is now an overdrive gear for me after changing the gearing.

It's just something that some people have to do to be happy. I'm kind of one of those people. With my computer, I'm always trying to push the hardware just a bit further, not because I have to or even because it's useful, but just because I can. It was the same way for my cars. I don't mess with the shadow however, it's perfect how it is.
