Lets not forget how much trouble a boxer can make if it's not well designed. Those two pistons shoving back and forth can cause you to pull to one side. Most of them seem to swing to the right.

yep, italian bike vs. russian tractor
40hp/551lbs vs 63hp(at least)/366lbs
the tires are holding the motor up (although a better way to put it is that the motor's holding the tires together) the motor's a stressed member: no frame = less weight
the Duke is prettier too if you ask me.
Also where are you going to take the Ural if it breaks down (although historicly russian engeneering is pretty hard to kill)

A lot of sportbikes now-a-days use the engine as as stressed member, basically the downtubes are cut out and the ends mount flush onto the engine, which is then attached to the lower runners. It drops a couple lbs or steel, though I have to wonder if the engine casing needs to be made stronger because of this. If so that would add weight wouldn't it?
My bike has it, and I haven't had any problems so far, no engine dropping out or anything horrible like that.

I don’t understand why these two bikes are even being compared...? You might as well compare a GSX-R and ask people to vote between it and a Soft Tail.... They're two completely different bikes meant for two different types of riding styles.

.... Also the Wolf looks like a flashback from the 80's boxer or no boxer.... Just my two cents.. chaching.
