Anyone in the BR, LA area?

I'm just looking for someone to ride with occasionally, especially any off-road riding. My bike can do it, although the tires on it currently are about 90% street. Not looking for serious mud-riding, just want to get some exp. & help on gravel & dirt roads.

Anywho, if you'd like to teach me, or just hang out, PM me or post here. :)

greetings from lafayette!!!

I ride an 84' Honda Nighthawk CB700s. It's definitely 100% street bike - I surely hope it doesn't end up off road :)

I too am looking for a riding buddy. If you are interested in some back road LA riding, give me a shout.

PM away.

And anyone else who lives near BR or Laffy, feel free to jump on in. I'm going to try & get my other friend, who's on a Shadow, to come along too. But he often has issues getting his yard-pass. LOL

My son and I are heading to Baton Rouge today to see a football game, or at least I hope it's one :)

I work at ULL, will route for the Tigers always UNLESS they are playing the Cajuns.

But I'm planning on taking off Friday (9/25) and if the weather holds, I'd like to do some riding next weekend (either Friday and/or Saturday).

You game? I'll PM you during the week.

P.S. - I heard the River Road is cool - maybe you could ride the levee while I ride the ashpalt.

River Road is nice. And the levee can be fun, as I've done a little of it. Only they have these signs that say you can't be up there unless you're authorized. I need to get an 'Authorized' Sticker.

Weekend of the 25th sounds good. I work 10 hr days on Fridays, but Sat would be fine.

Wish I could help in SoCal, but that's a LONG way from Louisiana. I did find this site, and it might help you:
