Happy Bike Day for.....

.... Mrs. Stark. She traded in her '07 BMW G650Xcountry today for a '09 BMW F650GS. She also sold me her '03 Trophy (interesting husband-wife negotiation that was...
) This is part of her plan to consolidate on one bike that she can tour on and do a little mild off-pavement riding.
The Xcountry was a great bike, but just too tall for her. Not only couldn't she flat foot it, she couldn't even get two tiptoes down. It made her appreciate lightweight bikes though. The Trophy is a top heavy pig, and is too much weight to handle at the end of a long touring day, she concluded. (This was an outcome of our 08 tour of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia). And she decided there's no practical (i.e. legal) application for the Trophy's horsepower.
So she sold me the Trophy, put the money torwards the new bike, and also traded in the Xcountry. I couldn't bear to see the Trophy go just yet - the bike is running perfectly - especially for the blue book trade in Trophys bring now. I don't need three bikes, obviously, but this gives me time to figure out how to rationalize the collection without getting a bad case of sellers remorse.
What, you say? "It doesn't exist without pictures?????"
