Well, I keep posting these newbie questions that probably annoy, but hey, the more you help the quicker it's over with.
Was going to buy a suzuki c50 or m50 new, but saw this in the paper and went and checked it out. Nice, garage kept with only 1900 miles on it. Owner is including saddlebags, sissy bar and bag, and headlight bag. As well as 2 helmets and a jacket (little on the tight side, but would work for now.) Looked at it today, very impressed, but wanted to get your guys' opinions.
Do you think I should make a lower offer? 3900????

I won't be much help on the price... I'm a huge sucker. I just wanted to say I love my V-Star and think it's a great bike. Good luck! (but I'd be all over that deal)

Very happy with my Star. Try a lower offer, all they can say is no.

2003 with less than 2000 miles, you can't go wrong with that. I don't mind paying that much included all accessories but if you can get the seller lower to $4,000 that is a done deal.

I gladly paid $3700 for my 01 V-Star with 6500 on the clock. It has a windshield, saddlebags, and the seller threw in a trickle charger and cover. Price was halfway between high and low on NADA price guide. Love the bike--good power and forgiving handling. Great to learn on, which I am doing. Will probably go with something more powerful next year--something that doesn't wind as high at 70MPH. But it's a great bike in my opinion. Go for it, but pay as little as you can. Like stock 28 said, all they can do is say no.

If you want the scoot and you have the money , take it in hundreds , fan out your $3900 and make your offer . Remember that Money talks and bullSh*t walks .
Kind regards, Wizzard
I think that for the milage and the condition you describe it is one heck of a good deal . I might even start at $3700 but I'm that kind of guy .

If so, he'll be dealing with those green backs...
