radiator covers...I read that there's a piece of aluminum under there that acts as a spring and prevents damage to the rest of the bike. So if you did go down, apparently it's just a matter of replacing the plastic on the side.

Ceemes my friend, if you were to ride it down the road a bit I bet those scoops wouldn't bother you anymore.
