Hey Everyone,
I've been looking for a beginner bike since I got my License in the summer. I haven't really been able to find anything! Whatever I've looked at is too beat-up or the person is asking too much for a bike, which I know isn't worth as much as they claim. I was wondering what do people suggest I do?
I'm looking to spend around $800-$1000. I'm thinking with winter approaching though I might be able to score a good deal.

Well. If your budget is only $1000, all you're gonna find is "beaters." If you want something that is cosmetically good, you're gonna have to ante up another $500 at least. Either lower your cosmetic expectations or put some more money aside.mgold wrote:Hey Everyone,

What's most important is how well the engine runs and the rest of the mechanics.
