Passed the road test today

#1 Unread post by nyrblue35 »

had i known what i know now about the MSF course i would have taken that and had it done in a weekend. i learned some good stuff from the guy i took lessons from but im sure the MSF has alot more to offer. the road test was very easy, i was nervous about nothing honestly. i look forward to taking one of the advanced MSF courses in the future sometime.

have to say though these forums are great and are very useful.

Way to go! How did you resolve your dilema about the $150. and your friend not being able to go with you?

Awsome! Great Job. My instructor (They call them Rider/Coaches here in Missouri) at the MSF class said the advance class, you use your own bike and do several of the same manuvers that we did in the basic.

since it was a thursday morning and i couldnt really find someone i said screw it and shelled out the cash. i showed up early enough b4 the instructor got there and my riding teacher said i rode with him. at least its done with. funny thing is my friend was banking on me to pass that morning so i could take HIM to the test that afternoon! well, being the doofus that he is he didnt happen to read the fine print on the form he had saying "you need to provide a licensed driver WITH a car"

he just assumed i can show up on my bike as well like i did. he got lucky as there was a guy just about to leave in a van that was helping out his buddy. he offered to take the instructor in his van so he did that and ended up passing as well. i told him if i wasnt such a good friend i would have told him to split the fee i had to pay since it didnt cost him jack!!! :frusty:
