Help with new bike?

Hey all. just found this website while I was looking for a good new bike so i decided to make a post. I have been riding an XR400 for a little less then a year. I put a Baha light kit on it to make it street legal so I've been riding on and off road with it. I have been looking to get a new street bike for a while now and i finally have the job/$$ to afford one, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, So far I've been looking down the path of a GSX-R600/CBR-600RR/or a ZX-6R. would any of you have any advice or comments on what i should do, ohh and I am going to take the MSF course in about 2 weeks.
