Just got done replacing the fork seals on my VTX..... wow that was fun had to make special tools for the job, the stealership wanted $100 for the tools and $60 for the parts. or they would have been happy to do the job for $340. So I did it myself was it fun.

They really aren't that bad to do: I've done a few sets in my day. The only tool I had to make was a seal driver, and I used a couple of pieces of appropriately-sized ABS pipe from the local building supply store.

I prefer to use seal drivers made out of a long screwdriver and some electrical tape.
