Hello everyone!

I have wanted a motorcycle for most of my life and have come close to buying one at least three times. The first time was squashed by my mother when I was 19. The other times I just talked myself out of it. This time I followed through!

I took the MSF BRC the weekend of June 10th, 2005 and also found and purchased my used Shadow that same week. I have put over 500 miles on the Shadow already riding around and back and forth to work.

My handle is JDrestore because I have restored a 1952 John Deere model M tractor and have a 1946 John Deere B waiting to be restored.

I have already learned a bunch from reading the forums here. Thanks to everyone for being so helpful to us newbie riders!

Hi,

Welcome to TMW, you have the same bike as my husband, and the same tractor (but his isn't in quite the same age catagorie!).
We do have a very ancient Ford tractor, from the 40's I think, and it still works for a living!!! :D

Cheers,
Jan

Thanks for the welcome.

I am from the southeast area of Missouri - Around Sikeson

My tractor also does some work. I use it to mow the field.
