I spent 70 Euros on a pair of BMW gloves. I saw my friends hand after he came off a bike last summer. Scarred for life. Have you ever tried to stop yourself skidding at 80/90 miles an hour with your Bare Hands?

Haven't tried that, but I did manage to scrape right through the neoprene on my mechanics gloves and go to the bone... Bike gloves are definitely worth it!
