Difference in cruiser and tour bikes

I was thinking of taking my vsta 650 across a couple of states?
Would this type of bike be suitable for that or probaly not ?

sure it would be fine as long as your comfortable on it. i know theres groups of people that take ninja250s cross country if they can do it on them any bike can do it ;)

I toured North America on a 360 Twin.

if i can do it on a bicycle i'm sure you can do it on any motorcycle.

That should be comfortable enough. Heck, I once took my old Seca all over Ontario and Quebec.

That wasn't so comfortable.

according to alot of people youd "outgrow" the bike before you made it across country so its not worth doing it ; p
