Yamaha XVS V Honda Shadow - What comes out the best?

I've got a Yamaha XVS 250cc but I came close to buying a Honda Shadow, Although I have'nt past my test yet I don't regret getting the bike I did, purely on looks, it's not a contest, people like what they like, each to there own but I was wondering what others thought about the 2 & how they compare.
