I have a 1987 Honda Rebel 250 I bought last April. (I took the motorcycle safety course in Oct. 2008.) At the end of the riding season I was serously thinking about getting a Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I went to a dealer just to look around and I found one I LOVE!!!!! Very comfy and looks great!!
Now my question is.....What do you think???
Thanks for all you help!!

It sounds to me as if you're already sold on it.
The Spirit 750 is a wonderful bike.
But as the old saying goes - "You do not buy the bike. It buys you."
Take it for a ride and see how you feel.
Than buy it.

Good next bike, and logical next step...but yeah, if the dealer allows test rides, take it for a spin to make sure the handling suits you.

Yep! If the fit and handling works you should do it! Those are great bikes and very reliable.

It's a great bike, and a logical step up. Honda's Shadow's are the closest to bulletproof I know of this side of an Abrams. Solid purchase if you're comfortable.

If you want reliable you go with a Goldwing or a Magna... I've seen both with well over 100K on them...
