I just realized something funny. I have a camouflage bike tarp on my bike. I guess subconciously I must have thought that if I cant see my bike during the long winter months that I wont think about it. :humm: Stupid Girl

So what do you have covering your bike over long periods of bike inactivity?

long periods of bike inactivity? well, i guess right after my accident the madura was just sitting out and the road glide stayed at the shop.

i think after my upcoming surgery i'll leave the hammer at my friend's shop and the 636 at my buddy's house--he wants to buy it anyway. the madura and 250 will both be sold by then, i hope.

Does not sound very good. Accident? Surgery? No more riding?

Oh just a wee drilling of the bone? and here I thought it was bad.

Just kidding, reading that just made my stomach roll. Good luck with that and fast healing.

Bet that lady's car is a write off.

her car was so messed up that she called her husband to come in and drive it home. i sure showed her!!

and actually, it wasn't her car that was messed up, she was just all freaked out and an emotional mess. i found out later that she was a registered nurse, so was probably trying to wrap her mind around the fact that all the pictures she'd seen in training about motorcycle accident aftermath were lying in the street right next to her car, due to her inattentiveness. that and she probably has children that are just about old enough to start driving (she's in her mid 40s). i know i wouldn't want my mom to have to go through something like that, so i can't say that don't feel at least a little pity for her.
