There are two separate tests, for seeing road signs and seeing collision hazards. Interesting.

It was interesting and even fun, I don't know though, maybe just me, but I really don't see anything there that in any way prepares you for riding or even feels familiar in relation to riding.
BTW 19/20 and 20/20.

some of the situational awareness tests i thought were looking for information that i wouldn't personally rank as the most important thing to notice.
a couple examples:
in one of them, you're behind a state patrol car that has its lights on and is pulling someone over and there's a lane coming in from the right that immediately turns into an exit only lane. according to the MSF, the important thing is that there's a lane added on the right so merging isn't necessary. i feel that the most important thing is that the state patrol car in front of you is pulling over the SUV in front of him, and you still need to be ready to merge because not everyone that's getting on the freeway wants to exit immediately so you'll still need to merge.
another one has you approaching a right-hand turn with trees right up near the road on the inside bend of the turn and a guardrail right next to the road. the big thing i noticed is that you can't see through the turn because of the trees; their main point is that the right shoulder is unavailable. ok, i saw the guardrail but it's not a major issue in my mind, at least it's not nearly as important as the fact that i don't know if anyone's coming or if someone's stopped just past the turn.
i don't know, might just be me. /shrug

Yeah I know what you mean Jaskc, that's what I was getting at too, and the only reason I scored well is because I guessed initially, and then caught on to what THEY were looking for.
