Hello From Chicago!

Brand new rider, and new member from chicago suburb. I just bought an 82 Suzuki GS650G. After a lifetime of drooling over other peoples bikes I finally, at the ripe old age of 36, bought my first bike. I have a full compliment of gear, and waiting for MSF course next month so I've only ridden around the neighborhood, empty parking lots, and in the town where I live. REALLY wanting to stretch my legs on this bike, but not going to do it without a license.

Thank you! It's got a couple issues but I wanted something cheap so I wouldn't care too much if I dropped it. So far so good. Hasn't been dropped, and only needs a valve cover and fuel petcock.

Hi and :welcome:

I hope the weather is good for your MSF course. It will be great for you to get some miles on your bike early in the Spring!

That sounds great! I just hope it's not too far. My bike still needs some work. Especially before I get it on the highway for the first time.
