Was driving to Atlanta yesterday to take my wife to talk to a hematologist/oncologist about getting a treatment for her condition when I see this dude on a Triumph. It was all cafe'ed out and purty looking. We were on I-75 inside I-285, which if you don't live round here and don't know is the heart of Atlanta known as midtown, and he was zooming around here and there being all loud and obnoxious and cool. Looked like he was really enjoying himself jockeying for the lane he needed. It gets pretty crazy trying to get the right lane in midtown but he seemed to be a pro. I was enjoying watching him and kinda noticing cars giving him more room then they normally do for other bikers. I thought that this guys coolness was just being respected properly and everyone was giving him space in which to enjoy that coolness. But then he crosses over into my lane in front of me and i notice the more probable reason everyone was giving him space. Strapped to his belt in the back was a holster carrying a rather sizable revolver. I was paying to much attention to the bike to notice this earlier. Ah hah! That man has it all figured out. No high viz vest or reflective tape needed for his bike. Just a loud cool looking bike, some aggressive riding and a big ole' "procreating" gun on your back. Yes sir. Steve McEastwood tearing through Atlanta. Kinda makes ya smile.

Nice... One of my buddies in Phoenix bought an SKS at a gun show, had no transportation other than his bike, so he rode home with a big ole SKS strapped to his back. He said he'd never had such room on the road as he did that day!

I would
love to ride around Edmonton or Calgary with a rifle slung across my back.
But I don't think I would make to the end of the street before the local RCMP had the SWAT team doing a High Risk Takedown......

I think they saw this post and are gathering outside your place at this very moment - just in case!

I'll bet! I couldnt imagine seeing that. That admittedly would make me nervous.

If you do film it. As long as it makes it to youtube before you get thrown in jail it'll all be worth it.
