Brake lights to working right...
i have a 1983 Honda Shadow vt500c, and my brake light comes on but when i apply the brakes it doesn't get brighter. I checked the ground and the bulb their all fine. anyone have an idea what could be causing this to happen? thanks

First take the tail light's lens off. Now you can look at the bulb. When you turn the key on, the bulb should light up. There is a second filament inside the bulb that is the brake light, and it comes on when you press the brake. Both the front brake and the rear brake have switches to turn this filament on.

i figured out the problems. the wires were connected backwards on the front brake and i just had to switch them around. and the rear brake the spring was not connected. so my bike is all fixed.
