Police Motorcyclist Hit on Freeway
I just came across this video of a police motorcyclist trying to stop traffic on a freeway.
It seems unbelievably stupid.
Unfortunately he gets hit.
Warning....It's a disturbing video.

So....there is a Merging lane to enter the Freeway.....why the hell do you need a M/C cop there anyway. I'm sure things would have been just fine if the cops stayed together & they all just....well....MERGED like usual. Stupid cop, sitting in the middle of the road, what a bread. He placed himself right in the path of Stupid drivers & got tagged for it.

Oh man, now you have done it. Years ago I was an MP in the Canadian Forces and it was standard practice to stop on-coming traffic at intersections and on highway merging lanes to allow convoys of military vehicles or VIP escorts safe access onto the route, and yes I was almost tagged more then a few times by dickheads who could not spot my flashing lights or me.
So my friend, the only bread in this thread as far as I am concerned is you.
Always ask why.

Re: Police Motorcyclist Hit on Freeway
Putting yourself at risk like that seems like a bad idea....as is proof by the video.
But if you, Mr ceemes felt comfortable doing this type of thing, good on you, I guess you were just following orders eh?
Anyhoo.....Thanks for your opinion regarding me being a bread....you seem like a nice guy.
But then again.....I could be wrong, right?
Regards, Me.

There has to be more than one safer way to close off a lane of traffic without using your body. Half dozen cones might help and cost alot less to replace. But who am I.

Re: Police Motorcyclist Hit on Freeway
I think the only bread here, is the driver that never even slowed for the cop. The truck was able to move over as was the car behind him, just what was the driver of the yellow car looking at? And as an after thought, at what point did the cop realize that guy wasn't going to stop? He didn't even react until the bitter end...
