i have a 1983 shadow vt500c. anyone know a good website to find a starter for my bike.
it wont start, it just makes a clicking noise when you push the start button. I checked the starter solenoid and its fine, and i starter hookin up jumper cables to the starter and hitting it with a hammer a few times. any help is much appriciated.

You also may want to take the crankshaft nut cover off and make sure the bike turns over by turning it with a socket. Just to make sure it's the starter and not the engine seized up.
