change plugs on 05 fz6

#1 Unread post by myfz6 »

I'm getting conflicting advice on how to change plugs on 05 fz6.
1) from under tank?
2) from behind rad?
Which is the right way. Appreciate any helpful info.

Mike.

Easiest way is to pull the tank and the airbox. Otherwise you gotta pull your radiator and then work some swivel joints in there.

Wrider is that an easy task on the FZ6? I would assume so as it is a naked bike. That's what you have to do on the CBR and on that bike it is a total PITA!

Heh yeah they're always a PITA, but it's about as easy as you're gonna get on a bike like that. The FZ6 is a little bit more user-friendly than the R6, but it's not too bad. I'd rather do that and be able to check the air filter at the same time than pull the entire radiator and have to re-fill it, then bleed it and all that jazz.
