Need Some Advice

[b][size=18][/size]I am new to motorcycles all together. I've been looking at bikes for a minute. I'm signed up for the course with the DMV here in Georgia. My cousin says that after taking the course my fisrt bike should be a 750 or higher. But I'm not sure. I just don't want anything to fast and crazy but something really sporty. Can anyone offer some advice to a newbie?[/b]
