It has 38000 KM and they want $2500CAD for it.
Is this worth it? If not, what price should it sell for?
I'm going to see the bike in person, what are the most important things to look for?

Thanks.

The price is a little steep for a 21 year old Ninja. It wasn't firm however but I would be thinking the $1800-$2000 range myself it it needed nothing. There may be more modern options available for not a lot more money. The 1990-92 ZX6D was a significant upgrade and if you can find one in great shape it would be around the same $$$$.
However in this price range if it is in great shape, it is not a bad motorcycle.
