Hey Everyone,

I'm a facebook addict and recently I've been getting ads for this business - the prices seem really good and I'm wondering if this is a real place or just a scam. Plenty of scams advertising on facebook - you know those try out the Nike incredibly expensive camera and its yours free!

You can always do a phone number search, make sure the address matches the phone number's location and use google to see what kind of hits come up when you enter the name. Check to see if there's a BBB on the site as well.

I always thought of Jakewilson.com and DDT Tuning as scam sites but after getting my order of tires from the former and a several people receiving HIDs from the latter I feel at ease when using these sites.

I'm glad to hear that our ads are working! My name is Nate and I own National Powersports. Google our name (make sue you google national Powersports distributors as there is an auction company called national Powersports auctions or NPA) and you will see a bunch of information about us. We also sell on eBay under the Id "thecollectabletrader". You can also see our bikes on cycle trader.com and on chopper exchange.com. We are located at 701 Riverwood drive in Pembroke NH so you can also check on us that way.

Feel free to send me an email if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Nathan Sanel

Cool! I may well be in the market both for tires and HID - well HID if I find money on the ground.

Well Hellow Nate! Its too bad you are so far away from my physical location. Nice to hear that there is a person behind the company. I'll probably check out your ebay stuff.

Good to hear that someone said to be the owner responded about National Powersports. It's quite reassuring when that happens.

The HID kit at DDM Tuning is $40 but you gotta know what you're doing in order to install the kit. Meaning no amateurs. I didn't go that route and instead bought a kit from a local dealer for $55 and yet I still got and installed a Philips Xtreme Power H4 bulb that lit up the road so much better than some H4 bulb from Japan that was installed on my bike. Even though it's only a 35W kit I was told that the HIDs will melt the lamp housing or such. It seems to be fine on my acquaintances bikes.

With Jake Wilson I order my tires on a Monday and it got to my house by Thursday and paying for the faster shipping option wasn't as expensive as other places (bing.com)

Oh man, I should have seen that one coming...send me the info and I'll look into it.

RhadamYgg, We only advertise about 50 bikes at a time on ebay. Your best bet is to look at our direct website, http://www.nationalpowersports.net. We usually have about 300 used bikes in stock. I started the company online and only moved into doing "retail" about 4 years ago. We specialize in selling bikes all over the world and have had many people from NJ buy from us in the past. Nobody here is on commission and we don't have the usualy car dealership atmosphere/mentality.

JC Viper, you've got a point. I don't know how to verify that I am actually me for a web forum! I know what I see when I look in the mirror, but that doesn't help you much. I have google alerts set up so that when my company is mentioned on the web I get an email. Thats how I found out about this thread and forum. I have seen posts like the op on other forums but usually somebody who has bought a bike from us jumps in before I get a chance to respond. Hopefully somebody on the forum has bought from us in the past and can post about the experience.

Nate

The local police department has told me that people have called them to see if we are real. We are in Pembroke, NH. If you guys decide to do that I would appreciate it if only one of you call and verify us rather than flood them with phone calls. I can also post a couple pictures of the shop if anybody is interested.
