When the weekend comes, it's nice to get out for a ride. But if it's raining would you head out for a pleasure ride anyways?

Yes. Definitely on the Ural, so I can blast through the mud puddles. Not so much on the Harley, especially if it was just washed and waxed that morning.

At one time all I had was a motorcycle so I rode rain or shine. That was in my younger days when I was in my 20s. Now I live in California where rain is rare and occurs at a predictable time of the year. I would never choose to ride in the rain any more.

Sure, although I have a specific range of rideable rain.
Anything too strong and I'll stay home of course. But a light drizzle is also annoying; it's not strong enough to wash away the gunk that accumulates on the road and just makes everything slipperier (harder to see oil stains too). Plus, water just beads on your visor instead of dripping off the helmet. But steady rain is fine (as long as there's no thunder).
Note: I live in the tropics, and most of the time, rain isn't annoyingly (or dangerously) cold here. I don't think I'd ride in the rain if I lived in Europe or NA.

If it's below 40 then I put her away on a rainy day. Otherwise it doesn't matter. I might hesistate for a hurricane but I've ridden through tropical storms. The V-strom is amazing in adverse conditions btw

I won't leave in the rain. But I also won't stay home because it looks like it might rain later maybe.

I live in Seattle, so a good portion of the time I'm riding, it's raining. I don't mind it so much so long as it's not too dark out. The rainy glare from the oncoming headlights - scares the crap out of me!
My limits are: NO if under 45 degrees and NO if more than 10mph winds. YES in the rain
