Where on the internet can I find the stand that looks like a triangle that goes on the back tire of a motorcycle and hoists up the back a few inches. People tell me it is for winter storage, is this true?

I think what your looking for is a Pit Stand. If you just search Google you'll find some links. You will need to find one that will work with your bike. I can't see why you would need one of these just to store your bike over the winter.
