I live in the Hampton Roads area of VA. In fact, I live real close to Langley Air Force Base.
I've recently been given a 1979 Suzuki GS 550 L, that needs some TLC. Off the top of my head, I know it needs a new battery & the carbs will need cleaning. What else it needs is for another thread.
I learned on one of my older brother's bikes, many moons ago. I haven't owned anything in 8 plus years nor have I rode more that few seconds on friends bike here & there and I only have a permit. So I'll be taking the local Motorcycle Safety Foundation course at the community college sometime after the new year.
I could go on & on about what-not. So I'll stop now.
Keep the big thing between the ditches and the little thing in your britches!
