Ok,so my dad doesn't like motorcycles but i dont know why, anyway i want to get a 49 cc Speedfight 1 from my uncle and my dad doesn't let me,and when i ask him why he just says that he doesnt like motorcycles,

,and whenever i say something about a motorcycle the same thing,so does anybody know some good arguments cuz for gods sake it is a scooter not a hayabusa or a chopper, and i told him that a lot of times but he wont listen,i always say that even if i want to go fast i cant becuz it cant go fast and plus the squt is from my uncle so if we buy it,it will cost allot cheaper than a new one, plus a free helmet and a jacket,so i dont "procreating" know how to convince him,can anyone help please?

I think that your parents are rightfully afraid for your safety. Even a low powered scooter can get an inexperienced rider into a heap of trouble. They might ease up if you took a safety/training class first.

Stop arguing with him and prove you're mature enough. Take a safety course. Be completely respectful when talking about it and knowledgeable about how much the costs are going to be and find a way to pay for them yourself if you don't already have a way. He is not acting like he doesn't listen. He is being a parent and is concerned for you. Maybe he has a good reason to be concerned. Prove you are mature enough through mature, thoughtful actions.

Do your parents know you drive the scooter when you visit your uncle? Who would they be angry with if they found out?

All right...from a parental perspective, if my son was still a teenager and wanting a scooter:
1: Don't expect your parents to pay for any of it; if you want it badly enough, you have to figure out a way to pay for it. That includes insurance, maintenance, and fuel.
2: Since no safety course is available, read as many books about motorcycles and riding technique as you can.
3. Be willing to wear all the protective gear, and agree that if you're ever caught without any of it, you forfeit the scooter.
4. Same thing with parking tickets or moving violations: you lose the scooter if you get one.
If you can't buy the scooter with your own money, can't afford fuel and insurance, and won't educate yourself before you bring a scooter home--it doesn't matter if you "know" how to ride one--then you're not ready for it.
Those little scooters may not go fast, but one wrong move and you're just as dead as you would be on a big motorcycle. Your parents know that; respect their fear, and be willing to wait a while, give them time to see that you're serious and mature enough to approach it the right way.

@johnj avecourse they know, hah what did u think that i am going to drive secretly for 8 months, hahaha
@thumper well i cant pay for the bike but can for gas,and as i said before its my uncle's and he said that it is ok for me to drive it around since nobody drives it at his house, its just there in garage gathering dust...so i dont need to buy it.
2.we dont have books about moto's,...so i read stuff like countersteering and so, online.
3.I said before i will get a free helmet jacket and gloves with the bike so no problem on that one
4.i dont want to speed that is why i want scooter and not a aprilia RS 50 or something fast.

Jake, that's good, your parents are ok with your riding the scooter under your uncle's supervision. Does the scooter have a license on it and do you have to have insurance to ride it? If you have an accident, who pays for the damages?

Yes the scooter has registration, well anyone who owns the scoot pays for damage. But the scooter is from 2000 or 2001 and hasn't had any damage plus i am a good rider so i wont get in an accident, and i dont know how the insurance thing goes here but i will ask my uncle(i think that you dont have to have a insurance, but i'l ask).
