Who gave this guy a camera???? I am more into watching the races than working on my photography.......ahem.....

Remember when they saying this thing would race at Laguna?

Nicky on the move in qualifying.

Capirossi

House of Miggy

Checa in qualifying

First came tire warmers, then seat warmers.....what's next????

More blurry pics to come......stay tunes.....or not.....
I would have loved to get pics in Monteray as it was an absolute zoo, and it was getting dark....and I am a crazy donkey with a camera...

That last one was just to provide a small example of how hard it was to get a picture of a bike without a girl on it
As for the other pictures, yes they were by the corkscrew but I didn't sit there during the race. The window of viewing is very small there and the bikes fly by so fast it is difficult to make out who they are, let alone take a picture. I sat on the big hill in the middle where I could see turns 10, 11, 1 2,3,4,and 5 as well as an overlooking view of the big-screen by the grandstands near turn 5. It worked out pretty well. As for watching the bikes fall over the corkscrew, it's pretty cool. No wonder alot of the euros had trouble getting up to speed.....it would take a lot of getting used to.

These CBX's were a few of several thousand bikes on Cannery Row on Sat night. Beautiful shape, but one of the nimrods who owned one sat there litterly for an hour reving the crap out of it to "impress" walkers by. Looser.
