It had been 24 years since I had last rode a street bike. On this day it had come down to just that same old saying, "It's like riding a bike, you never have to learn again". Or ? was that said another way.
I give myself credit in 1 area, in which, did I spell correctly ? I had bought me a helmet and had it fit to my head by an employee of a power sports shop. The ride was excelent, enjoyed it to the hilt all the while avoiding the facts of the rear tire being bald. I got 100 $ knocked off the deal, woohoo.
With 24 years out of the picture and an absolute in getting my new bike, was lost getting there and got a Sheriff to escort us, I had no Endorsement. I went Craigs List to several counties to find this bike. Was but a 90 mile 1 way trip. Have you ever screwed up and got away with it ?
Eventually I obtained my all needed Endorsement and in process learned what 24 years never done for me, tell me that had I been pulled over was likely to have bike impounded ! Deep breath. Ahhhhh !
